This course focuses on the use of black and white media. The emphasis will be on the fundamentals of drawing. Specifics covered will include simulation of volume, atmospheric perspective, composition, and style. General Drawing and Painting are taught concurrently, depending on enrollment numbers.

For General Drawing Classes the school can provide materials needed for its children’s classes by charging a fee based on the specific project needs of the course for the semester, or students can obtain a basic supply list and purchase their own supplies. All students are encouraged to wear clothes that will not inhibit the creative process. Old clothes, smocks, aprons, or coveralls are ideal.

General Drawing Class - $325/15 week semester meet on Wednesdays
Private Drawing Instruction - $475/15 week semester to be arranged with the instructor.
