Teaching Philosophy
“I hope that by teaching cello my
students will develop a love and appreciation of classical music. I believe
that talent is a learned skill and that any student can learn to play at the
highest level. I seek to create a nurturing environment within my studio where
my students will be excited to learn. During lesson you can expect me to
emphasize lots of listening, parental involvement in both the lesson and at
home practice, good tone production, and playing music from memory.”
